Where do I go to make changes to the legal page in Bizplan? What steps do I follow to edit the legal page in Bizplan? How can I update the legal page content of my business plan?

Bizplan automatically generates a Legal Page when you publish or export your business plan. This page includes important company and legal information, some of which can be customized to reflect your business more accurately.


Where to Edit Each Part

Company Logo, Date Founded, Legal Formation, Industry

  1. Log in to your account and go to the builder.

  2. Click the Company tab from the left-hand menu.

  3. In the Information section, update:

    • Company logo – Click Upload to add or change your logo.

    • Date founded – Update the founding date.

    • Legal formation – Select the appropriate legal structure (e.g., LLC, Corporation).

    • Industry – Modify to best represent your business.

Changes made here will automatically update the corresponding content on the Legal Page.

Confidentiality Statement

  1. Go to the Business Plan tab from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click on the Cover chapter.

  3. Scroll to the section that includes the confidentiality statement.

  4. Edit the content directly in the editor.

  5. Your changes will save automatically.

  • The disclaimer text is standard and cannot be edited.


Notes

  • The Legal Page will reflect the latest saved data from your Company page and Cover chapter.

  • You can choose to include or exclude the Legal Page during publishing or export.

  • Always review your Legal Page content before finalizing a shared or printed version of your plan.
