# How is my investment processed on Fundable?

## What happens after I choose to invest in a company on Fundable? How is my investment completed? How do I finalize an investment in Fundable?

Once you submit your investment commitment, the startup will receive a notification via email. They will be asked to review and confirm that they acknowledge and accept your commitment as valid. This step is important because startups typically set a fundraising target, and each investor’s commitment plays a crucial role in helping them reach that goal.
