# How to Edit the Traction Chapter in My Business Plan?

## Where do I go to edit traction milestones or progress in Bizplan? What steps do I follow to revise the traction details in Bizplan? How can I update the traction chapter of my business plan?

The **Traction** chapter allows you to highlight real-world evidence that your startup is gaining momentum. Investors look here to see signals of market validation — it shows you’ve moved beyond ideas and are already making measurable progress. This chapter can often serve as the proof behind your projections.

### Steps to Edit the Traction Chapter

1. [**Log in**](https://help.startups.com/knowledge/how-do-i-log-in-to-bizplan?hsLang=en) to your Bizplan account.
2. From the left-hand menu, click on **Business Plan**.
3. In the Setup sidebar, select **Traction**.
4. Use the main text editor to describe any progress your startup has made. Examples of traction to include:
   
     - **Customer growth** or rising user numbers
     - **Revenue milestones** or early sales data
     - **Strategic partnerships** or pilot programs
     - **Press mentions**, media features, or awards
     - **Investor interest** or pre-commitments
     - **Product launches**, MVP completions, or beta feedback
5. Use formatting tools like **bold**, **bullet points**, and **links** to clearly organize your traction items.
6. Your work will **automatically save**, as shown in the top-right corner when the “Saved” prompt appears.
