      Wild West Domains: A Record Instructions

      Editing your A Record points your base domain (e.g. yoursite.com) to your LaunchRock page.

      1. Go to the Zone File Editor for the domain name you want to update
      2. In the A (Host) section, click the A record for the domain you want to redirect
      3. Be sure the type is set to @ 
      4. In the Points to field— Enter 54.243.190.54 
      5. TTL — Leave as default
      6. Click Save Zone File
      7. Click OK

      Note: To increase reliability you should create four A Records for your domain and point each one to a different LaunchRock IP address:

        • 54.243.190.28
        • 54.243.190.39
        • 54.243.190.47
        • 54.243.190.54

        Congratulations! Your A record is now configured to point to LaunchRock.

        A CNAME record is required for your hosted Landing Page. Create your Wild West Domains CNAME record.

        Once you've modified your A records, it may take up to 72 hours for changes to update live.
