# How to Set Income Tax Rate in Bizplan?

## Where do I set the income tax rate for my plan in Bizplan? What steps do I follow to configure the income tax rate in Bizplan? How can I enter or update my income tax rate in Bizplan?

The **Income Tax** field in Bizplan allows you to define your company’s combined federal and state income tax rate. This setting is used to calculate tax liabilities in your financial projections and directly impacts your net income.

### **Steps to Set or Edit Income Tax**

1. [**Log in**](https://help.startups.com/knowledge/how-do-i-log-in-to-bizplan?hsLang=en) to your Bizplan account.
2. From the left-hand menu, click on **Finance**.
3. Click the **Settings** tab (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
4. Scroll down to the **Taxes** section.
5. In the **Income Tax** field, enter your estimated combined income tax rate as a percentage.
6. Your changes will save automatically or with a Save prompt depending on your session.
