If you need to refine your investor outreach or update the criteria for your fundraising campaign, you can easily edit your existing investor search settings by following the steps below:
Step-by-Step Instructions

Go to the Matching Page
Navigate to startups.com/investors/matching -
Select the Fundraise to Edit
On the left-side navigation pane, click on the fundraise you want to update. -
Access Search Settings
Within the selected fundraise:-
Click on the Email & Setting tab.

Then select Search Settings from the dropdown or available menu.

Make Your Edits
On the Search Settings page, you can update the key information that drives your investor matching criteria. These fields include:-
Startup Name – Update the name of your startup as it should appear to investors.

How much do you need to raise? – Specify your current fundraising goal.

Briefly explain your startup – Provide or revise a concise description of what your startup does.

Industries/Verticals – Select the industry or vertical markets your business operates in (e.g., Fintech, HealthTech, EdTech).

Prioritize This Location – Indicate if you want to focus on investors from a specific location or region.
Additionally, this is where you can re-upload or replace your pitch deck. Look for the upload section at the top of the form.

Save and Reprocess
Once you’ve completed your edits, click Update and Reprocess. This will save your changes and regenerate your investor matches based on the updated information.
Note: If you wish to permanently remove an investor search, you can do so from this same page by clicking "Delete this Investor Search" located near the bottom.
