How Do I Enter Owner’s Distributions in My Financials?

Where do I go to add owner withdrawals or distributions in Bizplan? What steps do I follow to enter owner’s distributions in my business plan financials? How can I record owner’s distributions in my Bizplan financials?

In Bizplan, Owner’s Distributions represent the funds withdrawn by owners from the business. You can easily forecast these withdrawals from the Capital section of the Finance tab to reflect them in your cash flow projections.

Steps to Enter Owner’s Distributions

  1. Log in to your account and go to the builder.

  2. Click on Finance from the left-hand navigation menu.

  3. Select the Capital tab at the top of the page.

  4. Scroll down to the Owner’s Distributions section.

  5. Enter the planned distribution amount for each year in the fields labeled by year.

  6. After filling in the amounts, click the Save button in the bottom right corner to apply your changes.

Notes

  • Distributions recorded here will reduce the projected net cash position of your business.

  • This is especially useful for LLCs or S-Corps where owners take distributions instead of salaries.

  • You can revise these amounts at any time by navigating back to the Owner’s Distributions section.
