How do I generate an app password for Yahoo Mail?

An app password is a 16-character code generated by Yahoo that allows Investor Matching to connect to your email without using your regular Yahoo account password.

How to Generate a Yahoo App Password

Sign in to your Yahoo Account Security page.
Under External connections, click Create app password.
Enter an app name, such as Investor Matching.
Click Generate password.
Copy the 16-character app password provided by Yahoo.
Use this password when connecting your Yahoo email to Investor Matching.
