How to Upload Documents to a Request?
Where can I add files to a request? Can I rename a file after uploading it to my request?
Uploading documents to your request allows other members to review important materials such as pitch decks, supporting documents, or additional information related to your request.
Follow the steps below to upload files to your request.
Step 1: Open Your Request

Log in to your Startups.com account.

Navigate to My Requests.

Select the request you want to add documents to.
Step 2: Edit the Request

Inside the request page, click Edit Request in the left sidebar.

This will open the Request Builder, where you can manage and update your request details.
Step 3: Expand the File Attachments Section

In the Request Builder, scroll down until you see File Attachments.

Click to expand the File Attachments section.
Step 4: Upload Your File

Click Upload File.

Select the document from your computer.

Once uploaded, the file will be attached to your request.
Renaming Uploaded Files
After uploading a document, you can rename the file to make it clearer for other members reviewing your request. This is useful if you want to give the file a more descriptive title, such as “Pitch Deck – Series A” or “Product Overview.”
