Understanding Security for Launchrock-Hosted Sites

If your site is hosted on Launchrock’s default domain (i.e., without a custom URL), it may initially appear as “Not Secure” when launched. This happens because the default display shows the site as HTTP instead of HTTPS.

How to Access Your Site Securely

All sites created using Launchrock’s free domains are fully secured with SSL encryption. However, since the system does not automatically enforce HTTPS within the builder, you will need to manually ensure a secure connection:

Manually add “s” to HTTP – If your site loads as http://yourlaunchrocksite.comSimply edit the URL in your browser to https://yourlaunchrocksite.com.

SSL Protection is Included – While the site may initially appear as HTTP, rest assured that all free domains generated through Launchrock are secured with SSL.

For Custom Domains

If you connect a custom domain, you will need to set up SSL separately through your domain provider or hosting service to ensure it loads with HTTPS.

We are continuously working on improving our platform’s security settings, and we appreciate your patience as we refine the process. 🚀
