Will I Get Notified when an Investor Opens my Email?

We don’t send real-time pop-up notifications when an investor opens your email, but you can still track their engagement in detail through your dashboard.

Simply head over to the Activity & Replies tab on the left side of your screen. There, you’ll find a full breakdown showing:

• Which investors have opened your email

• Whether they’ve clicked on any links inside — such as your pitch deck, website, or other shared resources

This information gives you valuable insights into investor interest, helping you:

• Identify who’s most engaged with your outreach

• Time your follow-ups strategically to maximize response rates

• Focus your energy on investors showing genuine interest

By using these insights, you can make your outreach more targeted and effective, ensuring you’re prioritizing the right connections.

Important: While you can track whether an investor has opened your email or clicked links through the Activity & Replies dashboard, investor responses themselves are not displayed inside the app.

All messages sent through Investor Matching are delivered from your connected email account, so any replies from investors will go directly to your email inbox (e.g., Gmail, Outlook). You can continue the conversation with the investor directly from your email just like a normal email thread.

If you want to confirm engagement (opens or clicks), you can still review those metrics inside the Activity & Replies section of your dashboard.
