      Identifying Your Domain Host

      I don't know where my domain is hosted. Can you help?

      If you need to determine where your domain is hosted, just follow these steps.


      1. Search for whois free to find a company that performs free queries of the whois database. 
      2. Select a company from the search results. verisign is one example. Another is Godaddy
      3. Type your domain name in the field and submit your query.
      4. Results list your domain's registrar and at least two name servers.
