How do I make a call request?

Here's a few simple steps to making a call request on Clarity:

1. Sign Up.

To be able to call an expert on Clarity, you'll need to sign up as a member. It's completely free and you can use Facebook, LinkedIn or your email address to sign up here: As soon as you're done completing your profile, you can start searching our global community of thousands of experts to make your first call request with.

2. Search for an Expert.

Search our directory of over 15,000 experts using keywords just like in a Google search. You can search for individual experts as well as pre-loaded topics and categories. You can also 'favorite' experts (and go back to them later) by clicking the star in the upper right-hand corner of their profile page. Filter and sort your search results by selecting a filter (see sample image below):

3. Schedule a Call.

After you've found an expert, you can make a call request by clicking "Schedule a Call" on their Profile page. You'll then be taken to the Call Details page where you'll fill in the required fields:

  • Reason For Call: Be specific about the problem you're facing and less about your business and background.
  • Approximate Length of Call: This is only to give the expert an idea of how long the call will take (it can still be longer or shorter when the actual call happens. The member will be charged the expert's per-minute fee regardless).
  • Cell Number: This is completely private and is only needed to send you an SMS reminder 5 minutes before the call happens (just so you don't forget).

After filling in the required fields, you'll be brought to the Availability page. Enter 3 dates and times to talk to the expert that works with your schedule. These may not be dates and times that work for the expert. See how Clarity calls work.

We advise requesting the call well in advance to allow ample time for the expert to reply. Keep in mind that experts are busy entrepreneurs and professionals and may need some time to fit you into their schedule.

When you click "Continue", you'll be asked to enter your credit card information. You'll be charged at that time for the initial call amount based on the rate and duration scheduled.

Continue on to the confirmation page and review all of your information before sending the request to the expert.

After you send the call request, you'll hear back from the expert within 72 hours, or the request will expire at no cost to you.
