How Do Payments Work on Clarity?

Do I pay before or after the Clarity call? Is there a refund if my call is short? What happens to the pre-charge after my call?

📌 Booking a Call

When you request a call with an expert on Clarity, you'll be prompted to enter your credit card information. At that time, a pre-charge will be placed on your card based on:

  • The expert’s per-minute rate, and

  • The estimated duration of the call you schedule.

🔍 What is a pre-charge?
A pre-charge is a temporary hold on your card for the estimated cost of the call. It ensures the funds are available but does not reflect the final billed amount.


⏱️ After the Call

Once your call ends:

  • You’ll be charged based on the actual duration of the call at the expert’s rate — not the estimated time.

  • If the call goes longer than scheduled, your card will be charged for the additional minutes.

  • If the call ends sooner, you'll receive a refund or credit for the unused time.

  • Any promo codes applied during booking will be deducted from the final amount.
