How to Contact a Different Person from the Same Company?

What steps do I take if I want my message to go to another contact at the same company? How do I switch to a different contact at the same investment firm?

Investor Matching allows you to choose from multiple contacts within the same investment company. If you’d like to send your message to a different person, you can easily update the recipient before sending.


Steps to Contact a Different Person

  1. Go to the Send Messages page

    • Open the fundraise profile you’re working on.

    • Navigate to the Send Messages section.

  2. Remove the current contact

    • In the To field, locate the contact name.

    • Click the “x” button next to the contact’s name to remove them.

  3. Choose another contact

    • Click inside the To field again.

    • A dropdown will appear with all available contacts from the same company.

    • Select the contact you’d like to reach.

  4. Update the message

    • You may edit the name directly in the message body, or

    • Click Regenerate to automatically re-compose the message with the correct contact name.


Notes

  • Multiple contacts are provided for each company so you can continue outreach even if one email address is no longer active.

  • Changing the recipient does not affect the rest of your message — only the contact information will update.
