Fundraising Control & Process

You maintain full control over your fundraising process. Here’s how it works:

  1. Investor Interest: Investors show interest by requesting access to the Business Plan section of your Fundable profile. You will receive an email notification when a request is made. You can then choose to either approve or deny their access to this section.
  2. Communication & Negotiation: All discussions, negotiations, and legal processes take place outside of Fundable.
  3. Investment Transactions: The exchange of capital happens directly between you and the investor, independent of the Fundable platform.

Expectations & Timeline

  • Do not expect an immediate investment after an investor views your Business Plan Profile.
  • The investment process typically requires multiple conversations before moving into discussions about terms and capital commitments.

By understanding this process, you can set realistic expectations and navigate investor relationships effectively.
