      DreamHost: CNAME Record Instructions

      Creating a CNAME Record is required for your hosted Landing Page.

      1. Log in to your account at DreamHost 
      2. Click Control Panel. 
      3. Click Domains. 
      4. Click Manage Domains 
      5. Click the DNS link located under your domain 
      6. In the Name field type the subdomain name you chose for your website with LaunchRock. 
      • For example, if you chose signup.yoursite.com, enter signup in the Name field. 
    • Change the Type to CNAME 
    • In the Value field enter host.launchrock.com 
    • Click the Add Record Now! button to add the record.

      • Congratulations! Your CNAME record is now configured to point to LaunchRock.

      To redirect your base domain edit your DreamHost A Record

      Once you've modified your A records, it may take up to 72 hours for changes to update live.
