eNom: CNAME Record Instructions

"

Creating a CNAME Record is required for your hosted Landing Page.

  1. Log in to your account at www.enom.com
  2. From the drop-down menu at the Domains tab, select My Domain. You'll be directed to the Manage Domains page.
  3. Click the domain that you'd like to use with LaunchRock.
  4. In the Manage Domain drop-down list, chose Host Records
  5. If you've already created a CNAME record for the address, simply edit the existing CNAME record.
  6. To add a new CNAME record, find the Host Name field in the first empty row.
  7. Enter the part of the address that you picked in LaunchRock.
  • For example, if you picked signup.yoursite.com as your address, enter signup for step one.
  • Select CNAME (Alias) as the Record Type
  • As the Address, enter host.launchrock.com
  • Click Save
  • Congratulations! Your CNAME record is now configured to point to LaunchRock.

If you have trouble configuring your CNAME records, you can check out the eNom tutorial page. Or, view a sample message to use when you contact eNom for assistance at their support page.
