      IX webhosting: A Record Instructions

      Editing your A Record points your base domain (e.g. yoursite.com) to your LaunchRock page.

      1. Log in to your account at ix web hosting. 
      2. Click Manage below the Hosting Account section. 
      3. On the left side, click the domain you'd like to use with LaunchRock. 
      4. Next to DNS Configuration, click EDIT. 
      5. Click Add DNS A Record. 
      6. Under Name, enter your base domain 
      7. Enter 54.243.190.47 under Data. 
      8. Click Submit.

      Note: To increase reliability you should create four A records and point each one to a different LaunchRock IP address:

        • 54.243.190.28
        • 54.243.190.39
        • 54.243.190.47
        • 54.243.190.54

        Congratulations! Your A record is now configured to point to LaunchRock.

        A CNAME record is required for your hosted Landing Page. Create your IX webhosting CNAME record.

        Once you've modified your A records, it may take up to 72 hours for changes to update live.
