      Linode: A Record Instructions

      Editing your A Record points your base domain (e.g. yoursite.com) to your LaunchRock page.

      1. Log into Linode 
      2. Click Linode Manager 
      3. Click DNS Manager 
      4. Scroll down to A/AAAA Records 
      5. In the first row under Options click Edit 
      6. Enter 54.243.190.39 in the IP Address field 
      7. Click Save

      Note: To increase reliability you should create four A records and point each one to a different LaunchRock IP address:

        • 54.243.190.28
        • 54.243.190.39
        • 54.243.190.47
        • 54.243.190.54

        Congratulations! Your A record is now configured to point to LaunchRock.

        A CNAME record is required for your hosted Landing Page. Create your Linode CNAME record.

        Once you've modified your A records, it may take up to 72 hours for changes to update live.
